Getting Ready for Christmas!

Luke celebrated his 5th Birthday on November 30! Wow!! Can't believe he is 5!!! He was very excited and very proud to turn 5! My mom and I took Luke, Zach and Josh to New York City the next day to celebrate his birthday. We encountered horrible rain and wind, but we had a really fun time exploring the city. We used the Subway system and surprisingly found our way around without any problem. That was quite the experience!! We saw the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall, went to the Lego Store, saw the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center, saw St. Patrick's Cathedral, Toys R Us in Times Square, went to Macy's on 34th street and mailed our letters to Santa Clause and then headed home.
We also cut down our tree and decorated the house for the holidays. The boys were very excited to pick out which decorations they would put on the tree. They are counting down the days to Christmas and learning all about the birth of Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas through school. We have a lot happening this month...with our annual trip to our cousins (Sean and Kelly for our fun sleepover), the going to Macy's in Philadelphia for the light show and Dickens Village and then to see Santa!!!!! It will be great to include Molly in this tradition this year. The boys will also perform in their school Christmas concert. (I will finally finish my Chemistry class too!!! Woohoo)

Here are some pictures from the fun times we have had so far!
