Our trip to New York was a lot of fun. We spent most of the day in Natural History Museum. The kids loved walking around and looking for the people and animals that were in the movie "Night in the Museum". We saw Rexi the TRex, DumDum the talking statue and a few other characters too. After we were finished with the museum, we walked across the street to Central Park and had a blast. Right when we walked in we saw a playground for the kids (The Diana Ross Playground)... They had fun playing in there and releasing some built up energy from the museum. We walked a little bit in the park and got to enjoy watching everyone in New York. We are planning to take another trip in the fall just to go to Central Park and spend the day. There are so many great things to explore in the park, but we didn't have enough time. Mike really wanted to see where John Lennon lived and the monument they have for him in the park and we want to take the kids to the Central Park Zoo. You can also rent row boats and row around the ponds and explore.
We had a fun day with Grandpop Jack and Cheryl. It was nice to get away for the day, but we missed our sweet Molly so much too!

What a fun day trip!! I didn't realize there was that much to do in Central Park! How neat that you don't live too far away!!
